THE NEW MATERIAL
We have significantly improved the fabric quality of our tents. From now on, we use 40D High Tenacity Polyester with Double Ripstop throughout all our tents. This fabric has a higher tensile strength than regular polyester yarns. Accordingly, our new tent fabric has a higher tear strength. In addition, it is lighter, falls better, rustles less and is softer to the touch.
Inside Tent
The 3-season inner tent offers good ventilation thanks to large mesh panels, while the 4-season inner tent is made entirely of ripstop nylon fabric to keep the wind out. It also has a 2-layer door with mesh and fabric for adjustable ventilation. Both inner tents are compatible with the same Flysheet , making Backdoor the perfect year-round choice.
Access Storage
Backdoor has two entrances, one at the front and one at the back, each with its own vestibule and plenty of space for your gear.
MULTI-CHAMBER SECURITY SYSTEM
Individual chambers provide emergency stability in the event of a failure and allow easy repair or replacement of parts of the inflatable diamond mesh (IDG).
Ventilation
The height of the outer tent can be adjusted on both sides and is accessible from both inside and outside. Combined with additional closable upper ventilation systems, this allows you to maximise air circulation and adapt ventilation to many situations. When you need the ultimate in ventilation, you can raise both sides and retract the main doors (which are attached to the frame with an elastic hook) to allow air to flow freely while keeping mosquitoes out.
